The German Village House Internship
The home of the Munhall’s, was built in 1871. They were seeking information about updating/renovating and extenting their existing home to maximize the space they occupy and to increase the value of their home.
As part of a team, I took part in the research of finding existing historical homes to compare what had been accomplished in other historical communities.
As part of a team, I measured, drew sketches and took pictures of every aspect of this home. From the measurements, the team was able to create one original floor plan and then from the original floor plan, work individually on differenct aspects to update or expand the Munhall’s home.
The project cocooned from a non-existant floor plan to rendered spaces in a seven week span of time. I participated in multiple meetings and presentations througout this time. It was through the collaboration and on-going communication, this project propelled successfully for the clients while building rapport within a team.
